Ida Zarrabizadeh

Ida is a licensed MFT, having a wide variety of clinical experience ranging from working with children and adolescents in the schools, to working with adults in the clinic and private practice setting. She has dealt with issues related to chronic depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, unemployment, economic difficulties, grief, relationship issues and self esteem, just to name a few. Ida is fluent in Farsi and has experience working and living within the Iranian community. With its unique culture and traditions, Ida is knowledgeable about the different challenges that may exist, exclusive to the Iranian community.

Ida earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior from University of Southern California and continued at Cal State University Northridge to earn her Masters degree in Counseling and Marriage Family Therapy. This combination of academic studies have really trained Ida to be an effective clinician, where she successfully uses her logical, and practical skills and combines it with her clinical training, to be a caring, compassionate, and non-judgmental therapist.

Ida is currently in private practice in the West Los Angeles area, serving children and adults. She is also teaching other aspiring Marriage and Family Therapists at Touro University.

“I believe that growth is a natural and necessary part of life. Without proper nourishment and care, both our physical and emotional selves will be neglected and will never reach its highest potential. I look forward to working with you on this very important journey.”  — Ida Zarrabizadeh
